Why is AUR (Arch Linux user repository) Muse Hub gone?
Debtap does this exact thing. Unfortunately stuff like dependencies can't always be directly translated. In this case, debtap will try to pull in some odd libc dependencies that cause jank in my experience.

simple question, simple answer
If there is no official Arch package but official .deb packages are available, you can always use debtap which automatically converts a .deb into a .pkg

Between .deb and .rpm, which is less awkward to use with arch?
My employer wants me to install an antivirus that doesn't seem to be available in pacman or AUR. It's available as a .deb and a .rpm. It looks like it's possible to install either of them; for .deb I've found debtap and and for .rpm there's this article that I haven't read closely.

AUR is the swiss army knife of every GNU/Linux l33t haxxx0r
Have you tried debtap? It converts .deb files into arch packages. I've used it a handful a times to convert packages (haven't tried the ones you mentioned, though).

Is Linux right for me?
Did you actually find a deb for anything that is not also available through the AUR? If so, there is debtap. It's really not that hard to write a PKGBUILD, though.

Is there any software helps build AUR packages and update them?
Maybe baph does what you’re looking for. It will update AUR packages and likely build them as well I believe. Been a minute since I’ve tampered with it.
