Between .deb and .rpm, which is less awkward to use with arch?

My employer wants me to install an antivirus that doesn't seem to be available in pacman or AUR. It's available as a .deb and a .rpm. It looks like it's possible to install either of them; for .deb I've found debtap and and for .rpm there's this article that I haven't read closely.

On the other hand, that same hook makes them completely oblivious to the things like the Docker VM or a Lima VM. Moving all my work into one of those required-for-work tools allowed me to achieve better than native performance.
