  • SWAG + Nextcloud + Cloudflare (free)

A good image that has it all (and was mentioned here) is https://github.com/qdm12/ddns-updater. The one I use though is https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-ddclient
  • How to get logs out of linuxserver.io (ddlcient) container?
    2 projects | /r/docker | 18 Dec 2021
So I don't know how to help with logs for you, but linixserver.io uses their own base image where they use S6 init system. The "entrypoint" in your case is probably here https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-ddclient/blob/b8d2c099c179fbfa086a868b2b9e4d5b7cea7ad3/root/etc/services.d/ddclient/run
  • How could I run public (web)servers from my home network without risking security?
    1 project | /r/homelab | 27 Jun 2021
What I do (and recommend) is use Cloudflare as both my nameserver and proxy so my home network's IP is never exposed to the greater internet. I also run a small DDNS container that updates the Cloudflare A record IP address so I don't have to worry about getting a static IP or manually changing DNS records if my assigned IP happens to change. All this in addition to having home servers on a separate VLAN and firewalled as others have recommended.
