I used this Ergogen-based keyboard (samoklava), plus Chocorne's layout, as a basis for mine
I also have a similar case made for this 42-key choc-spaced Corne (also a perfect fit, though), perhaps it's more similar to something you have.

MX vs LP spacing
I can't stand MX spaced boards with Choc keycaps, so I'd recommend it :) You can look into using https://github.com/davidphilipbarr/Choc-Spaced-Corne to save some work.
