  • ergogen_benvallack

    Ergonomic keyboard layout generator

  • Yep! There you go: https://github.com/daniel2887/ergogen_benvallack/blob/master/input/danns87_corne_custom.yaml

  • crkbd

Corne keyboard, a split keyboard with 3x6 column staggered keys and 3 thumb keys.

  • The nearest "mainstream" mainstream keyboard is called Corne or ckrbd and it's available to purchase in kit or fully built form from various sites online. If you want to learn more about the what and the why a keyboard like this is preferred by some people over a traditional layout, I heartily recommend this [YouTube channel](https://www.youtube.com/c/BenVallack/videos).

  • zmk-config

Personalized configuration settings for ZMK firmware (by daniel2887)

  • It's a bit of a mess and has been growing organically over the past few months as I tweak stuff, but if you'd like to take a look...

  • samoklava

    Generated keyboard

  • I used this Ergogen-based keyboard (samoklava), plus Chocorne's layout, as a basis for mine

  • Choc-Spaced-Corne

Various choc spaced corne boards including a pg1232 version and a no diode bluetooth only version for nice!nanos or similar.

  • qmk_firmware

Open-source keyboard firmware for Atmel AVR and Arm USB families

  • Yeah, I replied to the other person in this thread with a few links to get started. BTW, you don't need to design a whole PCB if you're just making a single keyboard. I made a PCB in this case in part to learn how and in part because I find soldering onto a PCB a *lot* more convenient than hand-wiring. But hand-wiring is still an option; more details here.

  • Just setting up my first corne layout. It will take a while for me to get used to this wow... It's taking so long to type. Attached is my layout, and I mainly use c# on visual studio. Any concerns/advice/suggestions are welcome. It will take a while for me to reply on this thing though.. haha..
