Build compatibility help: The original Dactyl Lightcycle
I want to build the lightcycle (MX variant) (may make some adjustments e.g. making the outermost columns 1.25u like my Kinesis 360). Additionally, here is what I'm thinking:

How to add rotary encoders to the Left side of Dactyl using Teensy 2.0 and MCP23018?

Retail wise, the MoErgo Glove80 is a Dactyl like board with low profile switches.

And indeed quantitative studies tend to show that Colemak can be very good for other languages, for instance French: https://github.com/bclnr/kb-layout-evaluation (although you need to modify it slightly to add accented characters to reasonable spots). Interestingly enough, French variant of Qwerty (Azerty) is much worse than Colemak or anything.
