Seed finding, survival islands
The short version: You can use my code with cubiomes to find your own survival-island worlds for 1.20. Drop my source into the cubiomes directory and follow the documentation for building and running. By default, it should eventually spit out 10 candidate seeds. Note that my definition of a survival island probably differs from yours; read on for the details and/or tinker with the code to your liking.

Find the correct seed
If the parameters are biome-related, you could use Cubiomes

Best seed for technical Minecraft server
There is no one "best seed." It really depends on what version you are playing in, and what your plans for the world are. Some common things to look for in a seed are quad witch huts, (although this isn't as important in newer versions since raid farms are so fast) double ocean monuments and large mushroom islands for passive mobfarms. A good tool to find seeds that have quad witch huts and meet biome-related criteria is cubiomes viewer. If you have some programming experience, you can directly use the cubiomes library to make seedfinding programs for more specific criteria.

Minecraft biomes before and after 1.18 (info in comments)
The bottom image was created using cubiomes. Cubiomes is a C library, so some technical knowledge is required to use it to make images like this one. My code was very similar to the sample image-exporting code shown in the readme.

5 Valley Village Surrounded by Jagged Peak Mountain Seeds
Found these using the Cubiomes program.

I've updated Seeder to support 1.18! Now it also shows the Nether and the End, and thanks to seed parity it also works with Bedrock. Find a perfect seed for your new 1.18 word!
All props go to https://github.com/Cubitect/cubiomes, what I do is port his library to WASM and let your browser use it without having to rely on a server that runs the code. Everything happens inside your browser! I call the library and visualize its outputs and make it a little bit more user friendly to use. It's still a lot of work, but updating to 1.18 for me wasn't as hard as it was for them.

What is the avarage number of mineshafts in a world?
Here you can find some code that sets the configuration properties of mineshafts. They have a seed of 0, have a chunk region size of 1, chunk range of 1, and generate with the CHUNK_STRUCT option. This means that a chunk that is out of the range of another mineshaft chunk has the possibility to generate a mineshaft. This means that for every 3x3 chunk there potentially exists mineshaft generation, narrowing it down to 1.562 trillion chunks to parse.

This seed for Bedrock & Java has a large island with a rare biome combo and a village!
I use Cubiomes to find a potential seed and Chunkbase to make sure it will work and looks cool for Bedrock! If it matches what I want I load the seed in Minecraft and make a post!

Planning Quad Witch hut perimeter
If you want to find seeds with specific unusual parameters, you can try looking at https://github.com/Cubitect/cubiomes.

I made a website to help you find the perfect seed for your new world, filtering by biomes or structures near spawn. I present to you Seeder: view, find, share and admire Minecraft Java Edition seeds!
This is a webapp based upon a library (cubiomes) written by cubitect in C and compiled in webassembly by me. Go and give him love!

Is "Amidst" abandoned?
The seed-exploration tool Amidst has not gotten an update since 2021 and I cannot find any information on updated forks or how to update it. I would love to have something similar because all alternatives are web based and usually not very customizable, if anyone has any info on Amidst or alternatives pls post, Github is https://github.com/toolbox4minecraft/amidst .

Find chunks of slimes in old versions
The only other thing I can think of is, have you tried Amidst? It's a program you can download from GitHub. Again, I don't know if it supports versions that old, but if it does, it can read directly from your actual world's level.dat from your Minecraft launcher installations. https://github.com/toolbox4minecraft/amidst/releases

How do I get more storage space on Minecraft on Xbox? [bedrock]
Afaik, increasing storage isn't an option on console. Do you have access to bedrock edition on PC? If you do, and you can download the world there, you could use a program like Amidst to trim the world chunks and decrease it's size.

Map Viewer Beta 1.7.3?
AMIDST is not a proper mapping tool; it only shows biomes and the locations of structures (example), and only shows biomes using the selected game version, not from the actual world save (the only thing it reads from it is the seed), and is not limited to generated chunks so you can't see how much you've actually explored (at least, not the last time I used it years ago). That said, it seems like they have since added support for older versions.
- Anyone know of a pre-1.7 seed map?
-
Any way to find slime chunks you guys know of? (Beta 1.7.3)
Amidst has Beta 1.7.3 support.
