Is "Amidst" abandoned?
The seed-exploration tool Amidst has not gotten an update since 2021 and I cannot find any information on updated forks or how to update it. I would love to have something similar because all alternatives are web based and usually not very customizable, if anyone has any info on Amidst or alternatives pls post, Github is https://github.com/toolbox4minecraft/amidst .

Minecraft World API
There's this API that will return an overview of a world(biomes, structure location, etc.) from a given seed and Minecraft version: https://github.com/toolbox4minecraft/amidst

Creating custom seeds?
Well, there is no tool for this but there is a website which lets you look at random seeds that you want to play in them, the website is: https://www.chunkbase.com/apps/seed-map And Also there is a software that you can edit the world the software name is amidst and here is the github link (note that it only supports Minecraft 1.17 and below): https://github.com/toolbox4minecraft/amidst

Find chunks of slimes in old versions
The only other thing I can think of is, have you tried Amidst? It's a program you can download from GitHub. Again, I don't know if it supports versions that old, but if it does, it can read directly from your actual world's level.dat from your Minecraft launcher installations. https://github.com/toolbox4minecraft/amidst/releases

How do I get more storage space on Minecraft on Xbox? [bedrock]
Afaik, increasing storage isn't an option on console. Do you have access to bedrock edition on PC? If you do, and you can download the world there, you could use a program like Amidst to trim the world chunks and decrease it's size.

Map Viewer Beta 1.7.3?
AMIDST is not a proper mapping tool; it only shows biomes and the locations of structures (example), and only shows biomes using the selected game version, not from the actual world save (the only thing it reads from it is the seed), and is not limited to generated chunks so you can't see how much you've actually explored (at least, not the last time I used it years ago). That said, it seems like they have since added support for older versions.
- Anyone know of a pre-1.7 seed map?

How do i find the color codes for the different blocks in Minecraft
There's something for vanilla blocks in the source code for Minutor:

Quad Fortress Intersection Locating
Don't know if I was lucky but I just used Minutor map viewer (https://seancode.com/minutor/) and found one fairly quickly after flying around above the nether roof to create the chunks. I'm interested by the previous comment as it hadn't occurred to me to use a tool/script. Nice.

Map of Kothaurus - 11-4-21 - 6 Years Progress
I use a program on PC called Minutor https://seancode.com/minutor/

I wrote a program to convert all my maps into a single image. Zoom in.
Really cool results - always enjoyed having a top-down view of my worlds. Is there a way you can/show use map flags? Otherwise, this looks really similar to Minutor but in the style of Minecraft maps. Still, great work putting this together.

My disastrous long term survival world map
It’s 2.5 gb, I’d download the nightly build if you haven’t, it works with the most recent updates, https://github.com/mrkite/minutor/wiki/Nightly-Builds

Color Values of Blocks
One way to get a list of colors would be to iterate over each texture and average the RGB colors of every visible (opaque or partially transparent) pixel. I've written code that does this but I'm not sure where it is right now. If you want a reasonably sane list of hex color codes, the source code for Minutor has a list in JSON format here. It lists spruce planks as #684e2f and dark oak planks as #3d2812.
What are some alternatives?
baritone - google maps for block game
CrossroadFinder - Finds different crossroad formations on a set seed
SeedSearcherStandaloneTool - Minecraft, searching numeric seeds for specific features/biomes
PixelStacker - A program built to make multi layer pixel art using blocks from Minecraft. It incorporates the use of stained glass stacked on top of other blocks in-game. The result is better blending and more color selections.
cubiomes-viewer - An efficient graphical Minecraft seed finder and map viewer.
mcmap - Pixel-art map visualizer for Minecraft. Maps are drawn from an isometric perspective.
MinecraftForge - Modifications to the Minecraft base files to assist in compatibility between mods. New Discord: https://discord.minecraftforge.net/
MineMap - An efficient map viewer for Minecraft seed in a nice GUI with utilities without ever needing to install Minecraft.
Paper - The most widely used, high performance Minecraft server that aims to fix gameplay and mechanics inconsistencies
cubiomes - C library that mimics the Minecraft biome generation.
MoBends - A Minecraft mod that adds more realistic looking animations to the inhabitants of your blocky world.
minecraft-world-downloader - Download Minecraft worlds, extend server's render distance. 1.12.2 - 1.20.4
