crunchyroll-go VS API-Crunchyroll-Beta

Today I've released v2 of my crunchyroll downloader and as the name implies this is a tool to download videos from crunchyroll. It can download episodes / series by simply passing their url and includes some nice features like dynamic output file names or specifying which language to download. The new version has some pretty features like an extra archive command to store all subtitles and multiple audios in one (.mkv) file which also has archiving to tar, gzip and zip included.

The new version v2 fixes (nearly) all of the issues the project had and comes with a ton of new features. I've you're interested in this, make sure to check out the repo and give feedback (this is the third post, I've messed up the title twice lol).

Around half a year ago, I've create an library and cli for the undocumented crunchyroll api. The cli part was a huge mess since the beginning and I'm wondering how it even works. The library was also a bit messy and too "low level" for an api of such kind. Both parts also had a lack of functionality, the ability to compress files while downloading or missing library functions for example.

Between crunchyroll-go, the API-Crunchyroll-Beta docs, youtube-dl, and streamlink it should definitely be possible to put something together. youtube-dl and streamlink don't support the new Crunchyroll beta URLs though, so you'd need to bridge them or port them somehow.
