Otherwise, it’s pretty simple, I have a script that pulls the top three comments every week, and I run them through a series of prompts in order to build a full podcast script. Then I use Eleven Labs to generate the voice. I stitch it all together with some music using Python, and then publish it using Buzzsprout. I’m currently using GPT-4 to run the prompts.

Of course, all of the code is open source if you’re into that kind of thing - feel free to open a PR, would love to collaborate and get feedback.

Since a true Babel fish doesn't produce text we also used ElevenLabs for text-to-speech.

With curent ai technology and some knowledge and 4090 you can make audiobook using voices of anybody with perfect diction 0 syntethic voice and superb audiobook like quality. Check it how it sound there https://elevenlabs.io/

These two things would, with modern tech, allow you to recreate a persons appearance (at least face) and their voice (via AI like elevenlabs). Kojima is gonna let you put yourself in the game.

There are other AI-powered APIs out there to consider, too. For example, Deepgram can be used to transcribe audio (better than Whisper, offered by OpenAI), ElevenLabs can be used to generate speech from text (including using custom voices, which OpenAI's TTS can't currently do), etc. Depending on what you're trying to make, a combination of these services may be what you need. In any case, Python is going to be the default language they all use (but an API is just an API, so you're not limited to Python up to this point).
