- Choc keycaps that are shorter than MBKs? Or maybe a smart way to modify MBK keycaps?

I'm also very skeptical, especially about the thickness. 22 mm for both halves, that's 11 mm per half. Know what else is 11 mm? Kailh choc v1 switches, top of the stem to bottom of the contacts. Not including keycaps and a bottom case. So either they're not using chocs, or they're clipping them. Either way, what is the hot swappability for? Not like you can get a variety of choc minis or the scissor switches, or expect end users to cut up their switches. The smallest keyboard I know is this: https://github.com/crides/fusion using choc minis for a 23 mm thickness when collapsed.

Look Ma, my keyboard is fusion powered!*
Yes they do... https://github.com/crides/fusion/

Are there switches smaller/more narrow than standard 1u keys? What would you use?
Horizontal spacing reduction is not worth, as long as it corresponds to your resting position it's fine (vertical for thumb); vertical spacing reduction is worth if you have skinny fingers like me, and especially helps to reduce the overall keyboard size. Been using a 13.5mm vertically spaced board for half a year, the stretch to reach keys is definitely nicer (especially for pinky), with little difference in speed

Ergo keyboard like kinesis freestyle but for travel ?
The best travel design I've seen lately is this one but it isn't truly split. Although being split might be a slight disadvantage for a travel board since you can't comfortably use it in your lap.

Ergo Keyboards for Traveling?
Depending on how small and custom you wanna go, but I put this in my pocket basically everyday

Long time no post to reddit: Daily driven boards
I haven't actually posted to Reddit for a while (other than comments that is), and I thought I should. I've been daily driving these 2 boards for a bit, the Fissure v3.2 and the Fusion. Both boards are fully BLE, and of course following my tradition on using the embedded steno engine.

How you guys press vertical combo?
Keycap and a bit of practice. MBK isn't that great for vertical combos imo, the chamfer on the edge makes it feel like the gap is larger (larger gaps more misclick). I have my own design of keycaps that tries to maintain a smooth curve around the gap, and with tight enough tolerance from the printing (final gap is like <0.5mm) vertical combos feel nice to press. I haven't tried caps other than MBK and kailh blanks, but MCC seems like a nice one to try.

Cantor, Guts and Griffith Berserk-themed with MJF Keycaps
Keycaps are Blue MJF Nylon PA11 keycaps in SQDG profile by Shoggot. Had 2 sets printed out by Craftcloud who outsourced it to a different vendor. I used Cride's repo for it before realizing that they had very slightly altered the profile to accommodate their specific board so the keys are very slightly off in a way that I don't mind.

Keycaps: SQDG with SLS nylon (on craftcloud too) and 2 resin (possibly) DCJS

Are there any Stenographers here? Should I switch to Stenography?
On the desk board, it was DCJS (I wouldn't be able to find the link now) by u/shogzilla; now it's the same as the travel board. On the travel board, that is linked in the repo
