My comp sci mentor who is a university student half my age says that learning to use Linux is the optimal comp sci education experience
Thank you! I will most definitely check it out. Just TBC, I have been using Linux mint since about a year ago but only recently started learning about scripting, this is my first simple scripting project https://github.com/sethvan/createProject so I am aware of and know CMake a little too but just enough for my needs at the moment. So your library is probably the kind of thing I should be checking out to learn from looking into.

I'm not a pro and this is an unoriginal little app. But could someone by chance give me feedback on any mistakes I may have made or things I could have done better?
Hi everybody, this is my first shell script project. As far as I know, it creates a barebone boilerplate directory for a small to medium-sized CPP project on Unix-based systems. If anyone is interested in a pro-level app along this line they should try out cmake-int though.

Improved my little shell script project and learned to embed video into README.md on GitHub
My POSIX shell scripting project to create the boilerplate of a basic CPP project on a UNIX-POSIXbased system now looks like this if anyone wants to check it out https://github.com/sethvan/createProject

CMake install schema for single- and multi-config generators
https://github.com/friendlyanon/cmake-init This is how you do CMake properly. If you deviate from its install rules you are highly likely to do something wrong.

cgen: another declarative CMake configuration generator
CMake itself is as declarative as a build systems need to be. For anything nontrivial, these "declarative" solutions all fall apart. Just use https://github.com/friendlyanon/cmake-init, learn CMake and you won't have any issues.
