This changes EVERYTHING! OCCT v13 will be released for Linux also. If this is true, it will be the first time in the history of Linux that we will have access to hardware info and stress tests, all in one app!
for Ryzen cpus there's ryzen_smu which appears to be able to do this. not sure about Intel.

Can all Zen 3 APUs run 4x 16GB 3200MT CL16 stable? (just XMP)
For sensor and whatnot, check out corefreq and ryzen_smu.

Can someone please tell me what is wrong here when installing ryzen smu?

Boot failure on kernel 6.2
Only out-of-tree modules being run are drivers for rtw8852be wireless card and ryzen_smu. The retbleed flag is not set and I'm running ext4, not f2fs.

Core-to-core latencies of the AMD EPYC Milan, 3rd gen
For AMD, if you have query access to the SMU coprocessor, you could use corefreq and ryzen_smu; they're for sensor readouts, and they do slightly different things. (And Zentimings and HWiNFO for windows.)

RAM won't run at XMP speeds
Check out corefreq and ryzen_smu; they're for sensor readouts, and they do slightly different things.

I forgot to mention, Ryzen SMU can be used to for sensor reading.

is there any overcocking tools for linux?
CPU/RAM overclocking is best done via the firmware, so at worst you're missing out on sensors and other readouts. That said, if you have a ryzen, there are a number of tools available.
What are some alternatives?
