- Copier: Library and command-line utility for rendering projects templates
-
What is a tool your company built that saved a ton of time for all developers?
We're using git repositories for the templates and using commits to enable updates (i.e essentially rebasing) similar to how Copier and Hygen do it. Any conflicts where the team has modified templated files can be resolved using git diff/merge.

Scaffolder: CLI tool to instantly generate project structure, taken from a YAML file
Hi — this is my first project in a while. Though it's only a "refresher" for my skills, I do find myself sometimes wasting too much time on manually creating files and folders again and again for each project. So I made scaffolder, which automatically generated that stuff, based on provided structure in a YAML file. It also has ability to add content to files right inside yaml to generate boilerplate code. The project is written in Golang which guarantees better performance (although I'm not sure the project is big enough to accent on that, but anyway) and cross-platform support. The Github repository is here — https://github.com/cemister/scaffolder
