What's the best way to get Unity Editor up and running
That version of Unity was installed as a Flatpak from Flathub: https://flathub.org/apps/details/com.unity.UnityHub

Help installing "libssl1.1_1.1.0g"
Any reason you're not using the flatpak? Messing with system libraries because the vendor can't be bothered to link to the current version will definitely cause you issues down the line.

For example Win11s design, that definitely isn't KDE
I know containers such as snaps and flatpaks are issues. The biggest issue I faced with flatpaks is that it is hard to communicate with other apps. For example, Unity hub asks you to login after the install. The login uses a web browser, but damn the browser can't communicate to the flatpak app. https://github.com/flathub/com.unity.UnityHub/issues/70

We Are Dominating. Live Eternal Free and Open-Source.
Of course you can't run sudo apt update for paid softwares. People can choose to use old software and not buy the new one. Is this possible on Linux without containers? flatpaks and snaps have different and very childish issues. they can't even communicate to Chrome installed via apt. See this issue : https://github.com/flathub/com.unity.UnityHub/issues/70

Arch Unity

Why does Unity exist on Arch?
I'm not an Arch user so I might be way off, but can't you just install the package from Ubuntu? Or this flatpak?

Has anyone got unity3d working on arch?
I had it working for a while (I used the flatpak version) and didn't notice anything not working, although that was a few versions ago. I kind of drifted away from it to start trying to learn Godot so I haven't checked it for a little while. :)

Fedora or Debian-based Distro for Software/ Game Dev?
fedora is basically a distro aimed at developers / system admins that's trying to become more accessible. 6 month release cadence, very vanilla experience, close to upstream. no issues with blender, android studio and unity is available as a flatpak.

what's really important
yeah, that'd be crazy... especially, when there's a flatpak and an appimage if they really didn't want to add the repo..

Help, i cant install VS Code , tried various things , urgent
I use Vs Codium, works just the same but without all the Microsoft telemetry. You could use the flatpak in the software manager, but I got lazy filter things with FLatseal.

What is your opinion about text editor for privacy? What do you use?
I wouldn't spend too much time worrying about privacy in open-source editors. From a privacy perspective, being built on Electron isn't different from being programmed in C++ or anything else - they can still spy on you and do network requests. I'm not a fan of vscodium myself, but it sounds fine for your needs. You could run the editor in a sandbox that blocks network traffic. On Linux, this is easily done with the Flatpak and Flatseal.

SDK extensions not getting detected
I'm following the Vscodium instructions to get more languages in its flatpak (namely, Php). But it seems that flatpak doesn't detect my installed php sdk.

Red Hat donates $10,000 to OBS Studio, Flatpak to be official for Linux
VSCodium is a very, very, popular package. An Issue tells them that they shouldnt break the sandbox themselves by writing into the home dir.
- Uninstalling codium tries to uninstall gnome, rip.
