Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Why it's OK to abandon your side projects 😉
I have been in the burned-out phase for quite a long (it started when I failed to build this project for my college major, but that's a story for another day) and one thing I have learned is that pushing yourself is good, but going over the edge can have harmful effects on your mental state, or even worse, you start to lose interest in software altogether.

There is also HTTPie which I've mostly been using for its excellent `http` CLI as a modern replacement for curl.
However I recently learned that it also has web and desktop client apps which are pretty great too!

How I use Nix in my Elm projects
In some projects I've wanted to use HTTPie to test APIs and jq to work with some JSON data. Nix has been really helpful in managing those dependencies that I can't easily get from npm.
