[Discussion] Using checkra1n0.12.4 to jb A9 devices
Hello, as the title says, just came across the option of checkra1n after finding out that unc0ver was not available for iphone 6s on ios 14.6 (proven fact, installed unc0ver and got unsupported message) . Due to the fact that i am using a windows pc , i looked what are my options again. Before finding asineth0/checkn1x iso , i came across https://iamjustatech.blogspot.com/ who was offering checkra1n0.12.4windows image in order to be able to create a bootable usb with rufus. So, my question would be, did i exposed myself by not using the git variant of the iso? All my concern is about the pc, the phone is empty and does not have my main ICloud account. I am thinking about not infecting my BIOS when i ran the usb boot and jailbroke the 6S or i don't know, any other kind of malware that could spread over my ssd. I don't know if any of these scenarios are possible , but i thought i would ask in case i should install a clean version of windows and maybe re-flash the bios too.

[help] human error or not possible IPhone 6s iOS 14.8
There is no tool for Windows. Easiest solution is checkn1x, which is a teeny-tiny Linux distro stripped down to only have checkra1n and the bare essentials: https://github.com/asineth0/checkn1x

[Question] Is it posaible to jailbreak ios 14.6 on an iphone 10,5 on windows?
You may want to look into a Linux bootable USB running something like https://github.com/asineth0/checkn1x

[Question] Are there really not any (non-checkra1n) jailbreaks for the iPhone SE (1) on 14.5.1?
Since you want Cydia, forget about odysseyn1x and use the regular checkn1x (https://github.com/asineth0/checkn1x). It's just stock checkra1n in a bootable ISO.

[Question] Using windows, how do you download checkra1n on IOS (SE)?
With a Windows PC you can use a USB flash drive that will boot your PC into Linux and run the install tool. Take a look at this https://github.com/asineth0/checkn1x

[Question] checkra1n not working
You’ll have to either dual-boot or boot off of a USB to macOS or Linux (it also works on Linux). I’ve used checkn1x and it works fine
- [Question] How the fuck do people jailbreak now days? I don't get it.

Multiboot with Windows Bootloader, GRUB, systemd-boot and MBR bootloaders
Ubuntu is a custom entry to GRUB sitting within the main ESP. Checkn1x entry is a version of alpine linux I modded based on asineth0's checkn1x. Its ramdisk and kernel sit within the main ESP and is loaded by systemd-boot as a custom entry in OpenCore.
