Help! Strange borders around gtk apps when applying themes and tweaks.
I found an issue on github Legacy applications theme problem, for anyone experiencing the same problem, it seems like recent updates broke a lot of themes in general, so I'm guessing soon this issue will be resolved.

Firefox kills DWM
It took me a long time to find someone similar, who faced this problem, but i found him. In video from the channel Linux Cast, about ricing dwm(53:18 timecode), Matt tried to open a Firefox Dracula Theme page, but DWM crashed. In my case, I try to open [Bitwarden main page](xGbFmiBGxKZuC3ACuNKLMBLUaAvRcEALw_wcB), and Catppuccin GTK theme page, and my dwm crashes in a simular way as in the video by Matt.

Authorization required, but no authorization protocol specified
Usually themes will provide the stuff you need to do extra for gtk4, check the example here, it's the theme I use for GTK and if you scroll down a bit you will notice a section called for 'For gtk-4.0 users'. You have to do those after you set up GTK2/3 correctly with nwg-look.

https://github.com/catppuccin/gtk Recently I change my setup and use this catppuccin theme. I had to configure my gtk setup with lxappareance + ln some files ( read the gtk4 part in the readme)...

behavior of layout switching
I posted an issue with flexipatch's savefloats patch https://github.com/bakkeby/dwm-flexipatch/issues/362 which I believe to be a bug in the way the patch is supposed to handle layout switching.

DE with as little resources usage as possible
if your not scared of changing basic C files the most lightweight you’ll get is probably dwm, try out this to more easily patch dwm if you do decide to use it.

Newbie to window manager, why use awesome over other dynamic wm ?
a lot of functionality can be added with patches, but you have to try and juggle those all yourself (and work out any conflicts between them yourself) - there are some projects like dwm-flexipatch to try and make it easier to deal with them, but it's way more trouble than I am interested in
