almost finished my electronic Catan board
That would be great. Not much code at the moment l. just one short Arduino script and the CAD files. I'll post an update once I am ready to start. I was thinking of using something like this: https://github.com/bcollazo/catanatron

Boardgame environment and data sources [help]
You could take a look at Settlers of Catan with: https://github.com/bcollazo/catanatron. Probably not as simple as you’d like, but that project includes an OpenAi gym interface and a simulator that you can use to generate thousands of games quickly.

This project: https://github.com/bcollazo/catanatron has its Settlers of Catan UI built in React. It still has some basic functionality yet-to-be developed. I'm looking for React developers interested in enhancing their skills further while contributing to building the strongest Catan AI (ala AlphaGo) possible!

I’d be interested in something like this. I’ve been playing around with https://github.com/bcollazo/catanatron and it would be super awesome to train an AI with human games.
