Lancache for Microsoft Flight Simulator
Start by running a package capture while the game is installing or updating. This will tell you if https or http. IF http look to see what hostnames it is downloading from. Add those to https://github.com/uklans/cache-domains.

LanCache with Pi-Hole? HOW?!
I just run the monolithic container and use this https://github.com/uklans/cache-domains to create the cache-domain lists for dnsmasq and copy the files over to my PiHole.

Configuring Pihole with Lancache via unraid
there is a config file: https://github.com/uklans/cache-domains/tree/master/scripts (suggested here) that it explain you need to add into your pihole or choice of dns provider.

Is there any way to test connectivity from the user side since diagnostics.lancache.net isn't working?
First, we need a domain we're expecting to be redirected. Here's the github page with all the domains the LanCache DNS server can be configured to redirect: https://github.com/uklans/cache-domains

Game Downloads Target List
Since Firewalla has been creating and maintaining target lists I was wondering if they'd be interested in doing the same for game downloads. I had been using Lancache for a long time but my kids complained about slowness with certain CDNs when using it and I've decided to get rid of it. What I've been doing instead is using the LanCache scripts to generate the output of the CDN lists for dnsmasq and then filtering that and putting it into a target list. I use an SQM rule to set traffic to the target list as low priority. It isn't a lot of work, but, I have to remember to do it and it is tedious, so assuming this can be automated on the Firewalla side and just pushed out, that would be a huge plus. See - https://github.com/uklans/cache-domains/tree/master/scripts

Need help with m1, Debian install on nvme to follow HA guide next
I’m quite new to Odroid and Linux/shell is new to me. My M1 8gb just arrived. Someone do a step by step shell commands list on how to get Debian on the nvme ssd (I’m using a 980 500gb)? Preferably install over ethernet as I have no image nor usb OTG. My goal eventually is to install Home Assistant supervised. Sorry for the noob question, trying to get around with this new stuff. As soon as in have Debian running i should get around with this guide: https://github.com/home-assistant/supervised-installer

I have $1000 to get started with home automation. Where would you begin? Serious.
For me: install Debian on an old laptop (or buy a second hand one). Get Docker-CE up and running and then use the Home Assistant supervised script to get HA installed.
