My Chromebook can game. But does it run Crysis? Actually yes.
Posts on ProtonDB stated that the game needed the "c1-launcher" exe replacement to work so I grabbed that from the github page HERE and replaced the stock exe files in the game folder.

Should they have made Crysis Warhead Remastered?
Try this: https://github.com/ccomrade/c1-launcher

C1-launcher was made to run the original game, and all it takes is a quick and simple swap of the Crysis.exe, no need to completely overwrite the entire bin32/64 folder. There's also CryServ client, an alternative to C1-launcher that has similar benefits and more. These are your best options. Period.

Me experiencing triple A games for the first time on my steam deck.
It's possible to get running, just a bit tricky, I've done it before using the c1-launcher in place of the regular EXE but I don't currently have it set up and working since I had a microSD corrupt a few months ago
