I just searched for any references of onion inside https://github.com/berty/go-libp2p-tor-transport and there are some references https://github.com/berty/go-libp2p-tor-transport/blob/7fbe6f5ebd84bc6a348cc535fc82b559e68105a1/listener.go#L32 so it might already be using Onion services v3
