Banano transactions require a "proof of work" in order to be broadcasted and confirmed on the network. Basically, you need to compute a series of random hashes until you find one that is "valid" (satisfies the difficulty equation). This serves as a replacement for a transaction fee. Services that send a lot of transactions, like BananoBot++ or u/Banano_Tipbot can use bpow.banano.cc to let the community help calculate the hashes. 1000 Banano is split between all folders based on how many work hashes you got.

What is next?
I've also been worried about the lack of activity on GitHub. It looks like development on lbry-desktop halted back in Nov.
- The beginning of the end? Specific files are being ādisabledā from the ocean we love to sail. Are they just experiencing server issues? Seems unlikely. Only time will tell. āDisabledā means a manual action. This is not good. Hoping to see mass re-uploads for the creators files who got disabled.

LBRY Desktop client does not include Rewards/ Invites anymore.
I don't know, but guessing that blocking content will be left solely to hub servers. Currently app is also using some other filtering lists. https://github.com/lbryio/lbry-desktop/issues/7681

Why is my Optimize and Transcode Video box unticked and greyed out even though I have Automatic Transcoding with FFmpeg correctly configured? The same setting is selected on my old PC even though FFmpeg is not even configured so I'm confused.
