Guide to a Consistent Application Style in Plasma
There exists something called kgtk which is supposed to force many of the remaining GTK2 and GTK3 apps to use the KDE filepicker, but I couldn't get it to build. Obviously, the very old original version made for Plasma 4 wasn't going to work, but I also couldn't get the more recent KF5 port to build.
