Export - no way to export attachments?
There are third-party export tools to get your attachments out but I haven’t used them myself yet since I am not using attachments. One such option: https://github.com/ckabalan/bitwarden-attachment-exporter

Yeah the split between EU & US has been painful. I also completed my migration just a few months ago. I found https://github.com/vwxyzjn/portwarden to work very well for the migration, which works around the file export issue by retrieving them one by one and re-uploading them.

Currently the only way I use for store passwords and literally remember that I have an account in that platform is Bitwarden. What do you do and how could I prevent the chaos if, for example, something really bad happens to Bitwarden?
If you want to back up attachments, you'll need a third-party tool like PortWarden or bw-export-tool.

Backup everything on premium version, not self hosted!
Depending on your trust levels (or your ability to read code), you can try portwarden. It’s a third-party script that does backup the easy way.

Do you really need to have your own BW backup if BW itself has distributed (offline) backups of everyones data?
