Announcing sequence_align: an open-source Python + Rust toolkit for efficient sequence alignment
Hi r/rust! We just open-sourced our sequence alignment toolkit, a performance-critical step in many natural language processing, bioinformatics and finance workflows. The main algorithmic logic is written in safe Rust with Python bindings from PyO3. I'm pretty new to Rust, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated -- thanks!
