Welcome! You are clearly in the right place. If I can give any advice, it would be to take a look at these two links: Awesome-DataHoarding and the wiki of this subreddit. I wish I had both of these resources when I started.

How to get started?
i have some stuff in mind, but i'm looking for tools to download it. I found a list https://github.com/simon987/awesome-datahoarding so that answers my own question, mostly. I'm just looking for some tips on how to store my data now.

Looking for open source software to scrape webpages but also make them searchable with a webui. (locally hosted)
You might also be interested in this list, those alternatives listed are really great and better, some support the WARC format (that my program doesn't).
- Trying to find a Github containing list of tool projects for backing up (discord, other places)

How to seed thousands of torrents?
I'm more or less doing this same thing now as I recently got fiber and am working on moving my torrenting "in-house". I'm using Unraid with binhex's rtorrent as Docker, and for the matching I've mostly just downloaded all snatches from trackers that support it and used autotorrent2 to match them to the data that I've long since fiddled around with. I may not be using it completely correctly as I feel that I'm not matching all the stuff that I should, but it's working well enough that I don't really care.
- Simple private tracker question
- I want to start reseeding some of my niche, harder to find movies but all my .torrent files are gone
- Cross-seeding but issues with accented characters

Windows -> unRAID Migration Help
Beyond that, I'm uncertain as to how to properly move my WireGuard and qBit setups such that WG is providing an opt-in-style split tunnel to a qBit-accessible interface and other devices if I so choose. I figure worst case is that I set up Wireguard as a fresh install and use AutoTorrent2 + cross-seed to get the qBit data present, but it would be nice to keep the exact metadata.
