Generating waveform for audio files
However, the json file occupies more space than the dat file and my task specifically requires me to generate dat files. bbc/audiowaveform(https://github.com/bbc/audiowaveform) does what I want, although it's in C++.

Generating waveform for audio files
I have an audio file(.wav) for which I need to generate a waveform file(.dat). Converting wav2json seems to be more popular and I was able to do that with the help of a few repos like: https://github.com/beschulz/wav2json
