Arch Based Distro for a Dedicated Production Workstation
this is not clearly mentioned in your original post, but I assume you also would like to create a dedicated(?) installer for this potential derivative. Arch Linux (and quite a few of its derivatives) use archiso for this to create installation/ rescue media based on profiles. The default installation medium now contains archinstall, which allows for installation of systems based on profiles. I have been maintaining archiso for over 1.5 years now and it has been a lot of work so far, getting things back in shape. However, I believe it is a viable, minimal solution for the task.

supported wifi cards for linux
Let's discuss this in private, and then post the result here. And yes, nothing changed, here is the script that Arch developers use to generate their iso.

USB is bootable, but laptop refuses to boot the live USB
In the meantime you can build the installation medium yourself though, if you have an Arch installation available: https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/archiso/

How can I load entire system to RAM?
No the default mkinitcpio doesn't have the capability to do that at all. archiso provides its own mkinitcpio hook for copytoram, which is somewhat specific to arch. https://github.com/archlinux/archiso/blob/master/archiso/initcpio/hooks/archiso
