Is there a way to set fan curves using an external controller that for the most part is independent of software/operating system?
What is also nice is that the aquero will get kernel support with 6.3 via this project: https://github.com/aleksamagicka/aquacomputer_d5next-hwmon

Has anyone gotten Aquasuite running in anything besides a VM in Linux?
https://github.com/aleksamagicka/aquacomputer_d5next-hwmon, this supports sensors and setting fan speeds.

Aquacomputer Quadro VM Support
I commented out lines that reference 'hwmon_pwm_auto_channels_temp'. I was getting an error using the makefile which led me to this GitHub issue: https://github.com/aleksamagicka/aquacomputer_d5next-hwmon/issues/28

Quad Nvidia 3090 GPU Obsidian 1000D build
Seems like people have been able to reverse-engineer the USB communication that aquacomputer uses for much of their stuff, and there is a plugin for hwmon that can read it. https://github.com/aleksamagicka/aquacomputer_d5next-hwmon

another stopping point, more insanity, good times
i'm glad you asked! https://github.com/aleksamagicka/aquacomputer_d5next-hwmon

visualization and sensors are awesome
For disk temps, highflow NEXT, and my motherboard it87-supported sensors, i'm using the linux hwmon interface. props to aleksamagicka for the aquacomputer_d5next driver: https://github.com/aleksamagicka/aquacomputer_d5next-hwmon. proud to have made some small contributions to this!

automated modeling of cooling system
Can you please try the highflownext branch of the aquacomputer_d5next hwmon driver? The original person who helped test the offsets has not been active for some time, and it would be great to have someone confirm the sensor results so that I can merge it into the main branch and hopefully send for upstreaming.

Things you can only do with Linux and not with Windows.
You can take a look at my repo, that's where I put the code and docs. Long story short, I capture HID reports that the devices send and find values in it that the official software shows.
