Is there a way to install and see Apple Emojis on Ubuntu?
I tried some tutorials out there but no one could make it happen. In summary, I downloaded Apple's emojis from this GitHub repository and followed these steps right below with no success:

What do you guys think of the new "We <3 NYC" design?
IMO they should have leaned more heavily into the "modern emoji" side of this, think the new Fluent UI emojis from Microsoft, and gone for a font more resembling a typical system font for phones. Then at least it would feel relevant. Sure, it wouldn't be timeless, but neither is whatever they have now.
