Why did the Nano X Bitcoin app dependent apps (such as Litecoin, Dogecoin, BCH) in version 2.1.0 go from 4kb each to 56kb each?

I've updated my apps on ledger many times, but what those updates actually do? Every few weeks BTC and all sort of apps will ask to be updated without any notes of what's being changed xD

Ouch: Ledger with 1.0 firmware not recognized by Electrum and Ledger Live - No way to update Bitcoin app, no easy way to recover BTC if user lost their seed
