Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

How involved do these problems get as the month goes on?
Polyglot challenge is fun. Some languages really bend the mind. If you need some inspiration: https://github.com/ttencate/aoc2016 https://github.com/ttencate/aoc2017

[Request] On Advent of Code calendar
I've found that this suits the most for a screen to play Bad Apple on. I believe this is an appealing concept.

[YEAR - 2015] Every day with a new language !
Heh, I still mean to do this for 2015 too, but not using any of the languages I used in 2016 or 2017. They are getting rather obscure now...

[All years, all days] Finally got my 350th star ⭐Mostly in Rust, but also Python, Clojure, Haskell, and Ocaml!
This Christmas break I had some time left over and the only year I had left was 2018. I had saved it for last because I had heard many people say it was the most difficult, and boy were they right. I did it in Python to see how it would be to perhaps use it for 2022 and I must say it is really a great language for AoC. Day 23 I think was probably more of the most difficult days of them all for me. I ended up using Z3 which just gave me the answer for free, felt almost like cheating. It also had a few days with a lot of details to get right (15,24) and two difficult reverse-engineering questions.
What are some alternatives?
