Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

[All years, all days] Finally got my 350th star ⭐Mostly in Rust, but also Python, Clojure, Haskell, and Ocaml!
This Christmas break I had some time left over and the only year I had left was 2018. I had saved it for last because I had heard many people say it was the most difficult, and boy were they right. I did it in Python to see how it would be to perhaps use it for 2022 and I must say it is really a great language for AoC. Day 23 I think was probably more of the most difficult days of them all for me. I ended up using Z3 which just gave me the answer for free, felt almost like cheating. It also had a few days with a lot of details to get right (15,24) and two difficult reverse-engineering questions.

Look ma, I put an animated css xmas tree in my repo's readme
The tree is copy-pasta from https://adventofcode.com/2015 with some minor changes. It's less bytes and higher quality than making an animated gif.

What can i do to prepare for CS in uni ?
Try to do old advent of code https://adventofcode.com/2015 .. https://adventofcode.com/2021 there is 7 years worth of exercises. Try doing this upcoming one, but don't be discouraged if you cant keep up... If you manage to make the leader board at some point it might be your ticket to the US if that is something you want to do.
