What is the best systematic approach to make flashcards quickly and at the same time reliable to make it scalable (tags,decks, subdecks) ?
If Anki is a life long journey, then the most important is to create good note types. Take Ultimate geography as an example. Each type of information has its own field. It makes it very easy to manage and expand the deck. You won't have the issue of recognizing cards by their shape, you won't have duplicates notes.

Advice on kanji flashcards
Slightly different advice... use the [Kanji God add-on](https://github.com/migaku-official/Migaku-Kanji-Addon/) from migaku. Once configured, it will pull kanji from your upcoming vocab cards. So you'll see/use the kanji in context shortly after studying it.

Of course there are all kinds of addons, but unless they directly affect the Migaku Kanji card templates (unless you can opt out of certain decks/note types?) it should be compatible with most everything. For any cross-compatibility issues with addons, you can let us know on GitHub and we'll look into it.
