anki-addon-builder VS cloze-overlapper

Building add-on development tools that many other add-on authors use to create the add-ons you love

I got a bit confused with the original Cloze Overlapper, and it felt a bit wrong to keep redundant information in our collections. The author also keeps updates for Anki 2.1 behind a paywall.

For the order of the stages I would personally use cloze overlapper, but making card manually also works, the cards would then look something like:

With that said, this is very much a subject Anki can help with. I'd say to go beyond basic key term/definition cards and add in basic "trigger" cards, cards with a front side that would resemble common prompts or questions you are likely to experience on the debate side of things. On the speech side of things, it would probably be helpful for you to use Cloze Overlapper cards (2.1 version) to memorize your talking points (just the points. Unless you're using direct quotes, just memorize the points).

I'm referring to this addon by glutaminate. It used to be one of my favorites.
