KDE Connect Now Available on iOS
I implemented a daemon for reading notifications (including SMS) on Linux https://github.com/pzmarzly/ancs4linux
Adding support for sending SMS shouldn't be hard, but I don't have time recently to work on that. https://github.com/pzmarzly/ancs4linux/issues/10

Looking how to start but I'm a broke 20yr old college student.
My first rig was a rather second hand Tacx Flow with the old Fortius head unit - this is Pre-Zwift technology that connects to PC by USB cable. The PC uses Two cheap USB Ant+ sticks and a piece of software called FortiusANT which has been written to interface the older generation Tacx trainer with Zwift, Rouvey, trainerroad etc. it works really well and have a pretty good performance. For some reason I almost prefer it to my new Wahoo kickr
