Battle-tested way to configure a Jenkins server on AWS using IaC/CaC?
I wrote a simple tool that my company let me OpenSource called reform (Seamless Plug). I have a dir called configs that has a subdir for each env {dev, stage, prod, global} in it. I also keep a dedicated git branch per env {dev, stage, prod, global} so i can do R&D in dev. Once I verify it works right I merge to stage.

Came back to Devops after 10 years, so much changed but Jenkins is still the default CI/CD?!
Recently though, I've seen some awesome packaging of jenkins into a stateless beast that is DRY AF and configurable to the N-th degree. Do your engineering squads argue about which plugins to install, syntax to use or even methods of authenticating into the jenkins instance? Fine give them their own instance... all managed via jenkins-operator in your k8s cluster (as an example).
