SpotX VS spicetify-extensions

This ones for windows and its trivially easy to setup, it's called SpotX. Go to this Github link, click the green code button, download zip, and after extracting it open it up and run the "Install_new_theme.bat" file. After that just answer some questions and it'll set it up in like 12 seconds, all you need to do then is open spotify and log back in.

SpotX works just fine on my Windows PC

There's 2 methods to pick from. One is BlocktheSpot and there is the DLL injection method. Supposedly the DLL Injection method is better as it's supposed to be more resistant against auto updates and supposedly more stable. But I've only had experience with BlockTheSpot and I've been using it for a while with auto update disabled and I've been pleased with it. You can also use SpotX which is supposed to be based off of BlockTheSpot but has additional features such as update disabling. You can't go wrong with either just use whichever you prefer. Just follow the instructions linked below and you should be good to go.

Unfortunately no for xmanager, but SpotX does a similar job for windows

https://github.com/amd64fox/SpotX use this on desktop, xmanager on android. Does the exact same thing as the paid version, same account and everything. Just download, log in, cancel your sub and keep using it for free.

Another solution for Windows Mac and Linux is spicetify-cli with this extension

It has plugin capabilities too, some of which allow you to block ads as can be seen in this GitHub repo

There are several solutions to this. I also know there's one on the Spicetify Marketplace that I personally use (though I forget it's exact name). So it really just comes down to the one you prefer most.
