Small tip for tracking monster HP: Count UPWARDS instead of downwards.
I personally love the Always HP module, which puts a bar on the screen. Click the token, type the damage in the Always HP bar, click the red down arrow. Makes it much easier because you never have to worry about hitting --, or forgetting to put a minus in.
