Friend gave me disc of Naruto (original series) but all files are not in seasons, just episode number 1-220. Is there a way to make this work in Plex without rename every effing file to the correct season and episode number?
If youβre an Alfred user I recommend this tool I made to rename an very large amount of files through any spreadsheet supporting xlsx π https://github.com/BenjaminOddou/alfred-file-explorer

Getting FileBot to work in 2023
# Install dependencies for FileBot sudo apt install default-jre openjfx mkdir filebot cd filebot # This is a version without the license/nagging wget https://github.com/barry-allen07/FB-Mod/releases/download/4.8.5/FileBot_4.8.5-Linux-Portable.tar.xz # Ensure we downloaded the expected file. This command should NOT return anything. diff \ <(sha512sum FileBot_4.8.5-Linux-Portable.tar.xz) \ <(echo "15e35631f3245cd458fa25deab224a0c487fda0fd4087e74854b5d7fa641550dd6896bc84c8d1358adca4ad9c3eea169b2678da21e987ead54b1130dffa423ec FileBot_4.8.5-Linux-Portable.tar.xz") # Extract FileBot tar -xf FileBot_4.8.5-Linux-Portable.tar.xz # Run FileBot with the javafx modules. # Otherwise, FileBot throws an error: "Failed to initialize JavaFX" java --module-path /usr/share/openjfx/lib \ --add-modules=javafx.controls,javafx.fxml,javafx.base,javafx.media,javafx.web,javafx.swing \ -jar jar/filebot.jar

Can't find an automated fix for Friends episode sorting. I have tried both agents, Plex TV Series and TVDB and neither work. Anyone got advice? I have been googling the past hour.

Do you, or is there, a way to automate title cards from sets people share here?
Then, season by season, open FileBot (I use this old mod) => Rename, drag all images to the left panel, drag all the video files to the right panel. Click rename. When images for all seasons are renamed, refresh metadata for that show in Plex, and it will pick up all the title cards.
