Is anyone working on an rsync clone? If not what improvements would you like to see if a new one came along?
I've recently published a crate that combines multiple connections into one logical connection that is resilient to failure of individual connections. You could use it in your rsync clone to make it more advanced than the original rsync: it would not abort the transfer if the network connection changes, for example from WiFi to Ethernet.
