Starting Over with Home Assistant - Prep Time
We’ve also been planning to start using a couple of Z-Wave devices and I think now is the time to finally do so. As part of this, I’m thinking I’ll use the Z-Wave JS to MQTT add-on. It won’t surprise me any at all if I need to try a few different times to get things just right.

ZwaveJS ELI5 please. I feel stupid. Where’s the screen to actually add devices? Openz-wave had an integration and access via the side panel. Sorry for the ignorance. It seems like I’m missing something simple. Thanks!
FYI, I've been using the ZwaveJS2MQTTin place of the official ZwaveJS add-on. You can either use it and send your devices to MQTT or set it to work just like the official ZwaveJS addd-on. Either way, you get a GUI to look at your devices, add, remove and change settings.

It's a bit convoluted. That's the ZWave-JS-UI for HA addon release notes. The note indicates an update to ZWaveJS-UI to v8.8.6. Those release notes say ZWaveJS-Server updates to v1.26. Finally, the ZWaveJS-Server release notes indicate the actual ZWaveJS package is updated to 10.10.0.

Z Wave JS migration
Looks like running Z-Wave is about to get a lot harder for those of us who prefer simple clean installations contained within a VM. I'll have to run the Z-Wave JS Server (https://github.com/zwave-js/zwave-js-server) myself within the VM, and then configure the Z-Wave JS integration to connect to that server.
