acsm-calibre-plugin VS fanfictionnet_ff_proxy

The Calibre plugins you need are DeACSM and DeDRM.

If it does that then it is not installed correctly. Be sure you downloaded from the DeDRM releases page and verify the checksum of the file. For ADE books I use both the DeDRM and DeACSM plugins. If you don't need to tie the ebook downloads to a specific account then it should be pretty automatic.

Personally, I download from ‘My Library’ on the Kobo site and then import the .ascm straight into Calibre using ASCM input and NoDRM.

https://github.com/JimmXinu/FanFicFare together with https://github.com/nsapa/fanfictionnet_ff_proxy … yeah, not for the weak-willed. Also, alias ff_cache=fanficfare -o use_browser_cache=true -o use_browser_cache_only=true works (with proper configuration).

Downloading EPubs from FFnet is incredibly painful (I use https://github.com/nsapa/fanfictionnet_ff_proxy and https://github.com/JimmXinu/FanFicFare, but it is really not for faint hearted), but it seems https://ff2ebook.com/ still works, so it is possible to download EPub even from FFnet and then let it be read by EPub reader. I use free (both as in beer and as in freedom) https://f-droid.org/en/packages/org.coolreader.fdroid/ and it works with Google TTS just fine.

There also is https://github.com/nsapa/fanfictionnet_ff_proxy which is fully automatic, but slow and a hassle to set up

I know how can download FFnet (https://github.com/JimmXinu/FanFicFare and https://github.com/nsapa/fanfictionnet_ff_proxy), but it is certainly not for faint-hearted. There was some website which did it for you, but I cannot recall the address right now, because I don’t care about it too much.
