How can I utilize my lightning node as a pay server? (technical)
Sure, you will have to host the lnurl proxy on your webserver and you enter your node credentials in the config file. Next you can connect to your proxy in the bitrequest app. Here's documentation for webshop integration.

How to manage XMR payments for a small web app?
It takes some cryptography. Had to figure it out myself as well for the bitrequest app. You can look in the code it's there somewhere. I use Mymonero enterprise API to scan for transaction id's.

So you've set up your lightning node? Now what? Start accepting non-custodial lightning POS payments with bitrequest.io directly to your node.
Download and host the lightning LNURL proxy on your webhost. Fill in your credentials (Host, invoice key and businness logo). Connect with the bitrequest app. And have your 100% non-custodial Point of Sale.
The reason i want people to run their own proxy (LNURL) is not to piss them off. It's because i don't want the responsibility. If you can run your own lightning node you can run your own LNURL proxy on your personal server with your own credentials and your own business logo...ow cool is that??

Recurring Bitcoin lightning payments are coming! What are the best applications?
You can setup your own LNURL proxy very easily with bitrequest.io For lightning users that run their own lightning node it's peanuts. Just host the LNURL proxy on your webserver and connect to it in the app.

Implementing lightning is really hard. If someone wants to add it it's open source.
