Different polling rates in one gamepad at the same time? 500 Hz buttons, 125 Hz sticks
For some time now, I have been developing software for measuring the polling rate of gamepads and measuring latency. And until now I could not understand why when I connect the Xbox series controller via cable, XinputTest shows that the gamepad is outputting 125 hertz (as well as my gamepadla). But the GPDL latency tester I developed shows 2.19 ms 4.34 ms delay (on firmware 5.17.3202.0), which is not possible at 125 hertz! It's at least 500 250!

New polling rate testing program that works not only with Xinput
A simple and effective program for instantly measuring the poling rate of your gamepad. There's no need to wait for anything, just start moving the stick and the result will be displayed immediately. I tested it on many gamepads and compared the results with XInputTest, so far, everything matches. But if there are any errors, write to me and I will improve the code.
- Wish we could get better polling rate on xbox controllers?

Any experiences with the Gulikit King Kong pro 2?
Tried test it with wine+XInputTest (https://github.com/chrizonix/XInputTest), got these results: https://imgur.com/a/KBtPid1

Dualsense vs Xbox series controller latency: 1.89ms vs 10ms
I found a post on Reddit that mentioned that we can use XInputTest by Chrizonix to test the latency of our controllers on our PC so I decided to give it a shot.

Is it possible to "overclock" gamepads on Linux
I know this is possible with wired gamecube controller adapters: https://github.com/HannesMann/gcadapter-oc-kmod

Slippi Super Smash Bros Melee guide on Fedora 35
The polling rate is 125Hz-ish by default. Use https://github.com/HannesMann/gcadapter-oc-kmod to fix that (git clone https://github.com/HannesMann/gcadapter-oc-kmod ; cd gcadapter-oc-kmod; make && sudo insmod gcadapter_oc.ko)

Loading a kernel module on boot
I have a kernel module that I want to be loaded on startup. When I run *sudo insmod gcadapter_oc.ko* it only works until I reboot. I've looked in the wiki and some forums on how to do it via a startup script but I can't seem to understand. The commands I'd need to run in such a script are: 1) cd Downloads/gcadapter-oc-kmod-master 2) sudo insmod gcadapter_oc.ko

Can't dash dance with my new controller
Ok, thx it works now. I just had to switch to wii u mode on the adapter. it was super dumb, and it worked out of the box on linux : for linux users : just git clone https://github.com/ToadKing/wii-u-gc-adapter and it will work. You can also overclock the adapter under linux by git cloning https://github.com/HannesMann/gcadapter-oc-kmod and do what the readme says
