Can't help with wn or synosaurus, but for simple lookups I like the Wordbook app (uses Open English WN, a fork of Princeton WN). I also use the web interface for Open Multilingual WN

Hi! The app is not yet available on Flathub. You can download the .flatpak file from here and then install it by double clicking on it or with flatpak install /path/to/file/hu.kramo.Cartridges.flatpak.

Cartridges - Beta testers needed
The app is mostly ready and I plan on publicly releasing it next week, but I would like to make sure that everything works as intended by then. If you would like to help test out the application, you can download the beta.
