I am willing to pay hundreds of dollar to have my conversation with my parents on Whatsapp preserved, but there is no solution. No body other than me cares?
Since you have the backup, this should be an option: https://github.com/KnugiHK/Whatsapp-Chat-Exporter

Is it possible to merge Whatsapp backups? I finally found my backup with conversations from 2016 to 2021 that I had missed, but I have conversations from this year. Is it possible to upload old conversations without deleting the current ones? Or some other technique to put it all together?
I did a fast search and found that, but I have not tried it yet and Idk if there are others. I do need to try it to archive my DB and start a new, smaller one. https://github.com/KnugiHK/Whatsapp-Chat-Exporter

Exporting Whatsapp Chat History from an iPhone?
The problem is that on an Android you can easily navigate through the files of the Phone and get the msgstore.db.crypt14 history file, which you can later convert to HTML or equivalent with many open source tools (like https://github.com/KnugiHK/Whatsapp-Chat-Exporter).

Is it ok to still use Honeygain but currently using DNS66
Here's DNS66, it feels like an abandoned open source adblocker and only maintainers are the ones who update the Blocklist which are owned by other people: https://github.com/julian-klode/dns66

Alternatively, you can install AdAway, DNS66 or Blokada 5. They all work without root.

DuckDuckGo now lets all Android users block trackers in their apps
DNS66 is on life-support now, even though it works great. Their lead developer, Julian, recommends using Private DNS instead: https://github.com/julian-klode/dns66/discussions/480

How can I limit ads on apps on my smart tv?
This will block all the youtube ads on both browsers. If your toddler is watching on a phone, I would recommend newpipe or dns66 for android https://github.com/julian-klode/dns66 . Those aren't great, but they do. Firefox on android systems also allows ublock origin extension to be installed.
