do i need more than lua knowledge to create my executor?
Yes. You need to have a good knowledge of C++ and learn reverse engineering. To get you started with C++, use learncpp.com. For reverse engineering, guidedhacking.com and gamehacking.academy are some good ones.

On what side project you guys are working on?
Django, postgis, vue, leaflet project for people to report issues and see them on map. I was using it to learn docker, Google cloud run, GitHub actions etc. Kinda abandoned it. https://github.com/aitchnyu/nayan

For a side project, I used docker-compose to make a Python+Geodjango+venv, vue, Postgis dev environment and all the action happens within containers. I did so because my Django stack needed OS level packages.
So can I use this instead of Docker for get a nested (without container) OS with native packages and Postgis (which needs port 5432 and a /var dir)?
