Latest Waydroid image now runs "Genshin Impact" on x86 Linux PC
It is normal that the game freezes when downloading resources, just force stop and try again. After downloading....(sight), close the app. Eexecute these scripts using waydroid shell to launch Genshin Impact or it will crash on loading screen.

You could try seeing what Google Play serves you if you're on WSA. WSA doesn't ship with Google Play by default, obviously, but it's not too difficult to integrate it. I haven't added Google Play to my PC's WSA build yet, though, which is why I tried the Android Studio emulator first.

What is the state of Android Apps on Windows 11 in May 2023?
WSA still uses the amazon app store, but you can sideload aurora store to get play store apps (or use MagiskOnWSALocal to use google play services)
